Recent winning trades below

Wednesday Was a consolidation day for the markets and we are watching in case market shorts trigger and oil makes a bounce. From the watch list another great day with 9 more hitting their buy points..  ADS, RATE, CHL, DWA GNK, GE, HGSI PFE, QLTY. Amazing.

QLTY break out

Tuesday A really super day. If you caught the e-mini pullbacks in the morning as they bounced at support it was great but if not they consolidated all day which makes for a great break out that happened in the last hour - the best time and it was very profitable. The watch list stuck gold as we had  10 new buys - DCO, GENZ, HA, IVGN, INP, NDSN, CIR, HUBG, SYNA and PTEC. Here are two of them.

INP break out

CIR break out

Monday A market consolidation day thought the Russell 2000 made some  headway. We did not have much new action -Was not a big day today which is CTL, was a new long and a couple of other made brief moves but settled back to break out levels.

Friday Was not a big day today which is good and some Nasdaq pullback was ok. Next week we have many earnings reports so it may shake things up again. Today we had two new long entries. AVR and PARL. Have a great weekend!

AVR break out

Thursday The market made a great 2-day run and as usual on the bounces that finally take, they run much to fast so we could use a stiff retrace - maybe half the gains.  Today we had 5 new stocks hit their buy points and all closed up - SLE. BLUD, ICLR, CATY and AMSF while we hand one new short - HAL. This CATY was up over 40% intra day.

CATY break out

Wednesday We have our very typical bar bounce started and this is what is nice about the long drop in the markets. If you play the rallies, a few are too early and your gains may not be great but then a day like this comes and as it moves people cannot stand to be left out and you make excellent profits on your ETFs and futures. We also had 3 new break out plays from the each list. WTSLA, CRMT and ALKS.

Tuesday Big market swing as all looking for a bottom to trade. Really good day from the watch list with 6 new longs - EXEL, GIS, KGC, LNCR, PDA and SFD with one short FNFG. Many keep going in the direction of the original trade.

PDA break out

SFD break out

Monday It was a pretty weak day for the markets at about twice the number of decliners to advancers. From our watch list though today  we had 3 new longs  - AEM, ASA and RBN plus 3 new shorts - HBAN, NYT and ORCL.

AEM break out

Friday Some interesting dramatics today at least for the Dow as it dropped under 11,000 but then rallied up to the profit area at which time all those who were trapped on the gap down morning seemed to have decided to cash out for the weekend and it dropped back down. Meanwhile we had a good day with a new long that did well plus four shorts. Gold stock ABX gapped up and we had another new long FFIV the other 4 were shorts today - KSS , PETM , THOR and TRMB .

The VIX finally is making a move over the broken trend line as it seems many are all waiting for it to go back over 30 to signify a tradable bottom. That may or may not need to happen - but now it is a weekend so please enjoy it!

Vig broke over trend

Thursday The market held its own and gained a bit. We have several biotech stocks that have done well for the last month or two and a couple added nicely to gains today. A new non biotech was  CEDC. One of the bios is  MYGN and it shot up again.

MYGN MYGN big gainer

Wednesday The reversal today was not a good sign for the longs and this time the recent lows may not hold. Still it is excellent for futures trading and several of our shorts keep adding profits. Plus our biotech selection still is holding up well.

Tuesday Turn-around-Tuesday and a really super day. Not only did the indices all hit buy points and give excellent gains but our watch list was on the money with 3 just added  yesterday. We had EBS, EZPW, KND and WAT long while MEE was a new short.

ebs

EZPW

Monday No big fireworks today but a late day buy of the Dow or other futures made for a nice quick move up as it broke from congestion. We had 4 watch list trades -   VVUS and HALO long while HW and JAH short.

Thursday Not much worth mentioning from today's action as it was low volume in front of weekend. Part of trading is periods of great activity and some of doing less and booking fast profits as they come. That was like today. We hope all enjoy a long weekend - in the USA or outside of it - Happy Independence!

4th

Wednesday The Dow gave back most of yesterday's gains while other indices made fresh lows as oil made new highs. However we had a good day with 3 new longs and one short. VRTX, MYGN,, BABY were longs and the short CLWR.

MYGN

Tuesday The market dipped to trigger stops and that made a good set up to rally back to the day's highs. A super way to start the new month with 7 new longs triggering - EGO, WAT, FINL, CELG, (second spot)  VPHM, SSRI, and SLW a new short was  FALC.

EGO

FALC

Monday The financials seemed to lead the market lower but the Nasdaq was the biggest loser But for our watch list a good way to end the month as we had 5 new longs CELG, CNEH, KG, OPIP and UXG while ALGT was the new short.

Thanks to prostreet in the chat room for this 6-month monthly chart of the Dow - interesting chart.

Dow 6 months

ALGT

Friday The market still pulled back but we enjoyed an excellent day. From the watch list we had 3 new long trades - ABAT, USO, and SDTH plus 2 new shorts -  NUAN and ABAX. Have a great weekend and next week we will get a rally. Look how different these two were - only the last letter is changed....nice profits on both.

ABAT

ABAX

Thursday The market is in oversold territory but today the shorts worked out well-- From the watch list we had one new long and one short -- Long FLO and short HLTH.

FLO

Wednesday The market advanced a bit during the day but the FOMC statement did nothing to help. If they should say what we all know that inflation is higher than official figures it would raise the dollar and lower oil and help the market. New trades this week as we were out 1 1/2 days - AMGN, SWSI, ADTN and s a short was MSTR.

amgn 3-day run

Friday Another big pullback day in the market so very glad we keep booking partial profits on each trade and setting stops to protect them. An amazing volume day with PLTG as it was exactly on target for the first level by hitting $0.17 for a 100% gain since the 8 cent base. Hopefully it can consolidate a while to build a good base again for the move during the remainder of the year.  This is the first day of summer so please enjoy your weekend!

pltg

Thursday Bland market but still profitable.  XIDE was a long from the watch list and PLTG is one we follow. Last time this based around 8 cents and went up 200% so we are thinking it may repeat this again. So far up about 50% and today it had very heavy volume as company is making more money by adding additional wells.

pltg

Wednesday Nice day for trades. The Dow has been weak trying to find a bottom but the S&P 400 Mid Caps have done much better. Today we had great success with  TGC, KOG and MPET long and went short LLY and GVHR. And IVAN continued real well from yesterday's buy.

kog

tgc

Tuesday Not much in the indexes of interest today. The Dow was a short soon after the start as it broke the small trend so a 100 point point profit by the close. We had five new buys from our watch list. RDEN, AES, FPP , PXP and IVAN.

ivan

Monday A pretty good market day with some continuation from Friday's action. We had three new buys today.  APWR, NHWK, PBY and ROST.

nhwk

Friday A nice oversold rally today. It felt like only a bounce but it could change into something of course though we are happy to take at least partial profit each day. We has 17 new trades this week from our watch list so a good week. Today we had 4 longs - BZP, ICO, OLN and TRA with one short FRP that rallied back later. Have a super weekend.

ico

Thursday Options expiration next week and this up and down will continue. Today we had two new shorts - DAL and UNH plus two new longs - PDC and WBMD.

dal

Wednesday Another weak market but we had shorts and longs to work with so still a profitable day. PTEN and MPET were the longs while three shorts MDP, VLO and AG.

ag

Tuesday We got a computer virus that delayed the posting. We had though two shorts on Tuesday IGT and OI

Monday The Dow rallied a bit but more of a consolidation day. Not too much activity. We had two new longs and one short. AGU. and MCZ. while a short candidate KO gapped down open. Maybe a turn-around-Tuesday?

Friday The Dow seemed to have an A wave down then a B wave up and this seems to be the C wave back down but it may continue a while. There are still some good looking charts but takes faster profits on longs while the market is weak. Today we had one new long and one short. EGO and WOOF. Have a super weekend!

woof

Thursday A rally today as retailers had better reports than expected. We had 8 new break out buys today - WMT, PQ, MLNX, GW, BRCD, AVA, ASIA and AMGN - guess you will not find another site with this many in a day and probably not in a week.

wmt

pq

Wednesday Another indecisive day on the street but the Nasdaq 100 is still in a clear up channel and the Russell 2000 has been strong. We had 4 good new trades today. Long CTRN, SRI and short NOK and JAVA.

sri

Tuesday The pullback in the general market continued where the Russell 200 is doing the best in holding up. We had 4 new buys today and quicker to take profit also. AREX, WEL PRFT and GRA.

prft

Monday The markets look like they may have started the C wave down. We had a very with 2 longs - BABY and JRCC plus 3 shorts - LEN, LEH and IFC. - This JRCC  really nice.

jrcc

Friday The month is over and for May the Dow was down 1.4%, while the Nasdaq rose 4.6% and the S&P rose 1.1%. We had another good day - first with our long term pick PVR.v as solid earnings continue. It has now more than doubled yet it is only trading at a forward PE of 5 or less so can double again at least we think. From our watch list we had 5 new buys today - CENT, CENTA, CMGI, FWRD and RFMD. Have a super weekend and welcome June.

cent

Thursday A good rally today and nice for us with many profitable trades. One more day in the month so can they keep it dressed up? All longs today we had 8 new buys from the watch list. ABT, CHTR, CSTR, FWRD, LDG, MSPD, RL and RNOW.

mspd

Wednesday We have a cautious market where select stocks still do well. We had a very good day with nice profitable action. new  longs FINL, AMSC, ATML and MR plus  3 new shorts - RF, FITB and ABK.

amsc

Tuesday Not much more than an oversold market bounce today but we did pretty well with 3 new longs ULTI, FDP and RDY plus one short MAS. This one is a beauty plus our PYR.v up 30%.

ulti

Friday The market is close to a possible bounce point. Not a real move back up but a bounce next week. In the meantime have a great long weekend. One new short trade triggered today HOV.

Thursday Unusual day as we had no new trades from the watch list however many of the high flier energy-oil stocks we mentioned as short candidates had great tumbles today.

Wednesday The market not only continued its pullback but broke support trend line yet we had 7 new buys form the watch list today - good day. DJP, DGX, DPL, FEEC, FTO, SRCL and IVAN.

feec break out

Tuesday We have been looking for a market pullback and we go it today. So far not much broken so we will watch how the dip buyer react tomorrow. We had 4 new buys from the watch list but they did not move as much as usual as all the hot money seemed to have been in tiny oil companies. New today were: ALE, BRY, PACR and UHS.

Monday Market gave a nice rally then a reversal to give up its gains as is common after light volume moves up for so many days. Much profit to lock in and expect we will see more. However --  we had a  great start of the week with 7 new watch list buys. AEZ was the biggest winner up 18% but we also had AIV, CAT, CHS, CMZ, SUF and TER.

aez big winner

Friday Market wise not much to say as the buyers are still stepping up on pullbacks. Not many of them as volume is low but enough to so far keep the market up. Today we had three additional buys from our watch list.  ATN, EME and MPET. Sometimes on the fist day they can not move much above the breakpoint but do so the following day like QCOM did today. Have a great weekend.

qcom

Thursday Volume was still light but an impressive rally today. After so many new break outs this week we had two more today with LUK, and NVDA.

luk

Wednesday A nice morning rally in the markets today and a good one to take profits as it sold off in the afternoon. We stuck it big today with 15 from our watch list hitting their buy points. TRN, RMIX, TIF, QTWW, QCOM, PKI, LEAP, KNL, GW, FDRY, DTE, AME, ADSK, AKS and ADBE

pki

Tuesday A pretty bland day today but we had 4 nice watch list trades anyway. SY, DTSI, BCE and CGNY.

dtsi

Monday Today was the lightest volume day of the year on the NYSE yet we had a big day for long side stocks that hit their buy points. There were 12 of ours today. B, CPST, LULU, BBD, CAS, FUL, ANAD, CYT, PER CNI AEL and VRTX.

Friday The Dow closed back under the 200-day EMA. The 50-day EMA is at 12653 so could bounce a bit in that general area as has former support. BMRN, was a new long play today and ran up well while VLO a profitable short.  PWE and ROSE gapped up. Have a great weekend and sign up for the free newsletter on the top right if you are not yet subscribed.

bmrn chart

Thursday It was a slow day today and we expected it would slow down after 3 weeks of such constant action. We had a could o  movers but then did not move much.  RPM  hit the buy price but  MTRX gapped over it a bit. The best mover of the day did not make it to the watch list but was in the chat room.  CTDC and it did really well. This is it intraday as it closed somewhat lower.

ctdc

Wednesday The markets closed at support by a tiny bit but the bears may win that battle and more downside to come. We had 4 long side trades today so a good day. ENT, FFIV, PPC and OCNF. Intra day chart.

ent

Tuesdayy Markets pulled back to pivot points and rallied back as oil made new highs. We had a couple of new buys -  ENER a nice move and now t a new level also - and ASIA.

ener

Monday A bland market day as the oversold bounces were in oil and gold as expected and a few others that had pulled back. I guess we will get another dollar bounce soon but think the market needs some more pullback. We had 3 new break out buys today  SCRX, HEES and CNHR.

Friday We had 27 new break out buys this week - actually one was a short - but a really excellent week. The market ran up at the open to allow folks to take some profits after the big Thursday move. We had two more buys today and many gap ups. The two were - JRJC and AIG . Have a great weekend!

Thursday Out with the old and in with the new. Rotation out of the big winners of the year and into some that could spring to life. Too early to tell but some good trades today and short covering sure helped. As quite typical the market acts one way on the day of a Fed announcement and the opposite on the next. Today we had 9 new watch list break out buys - Fantastic in last 3 weeks that is 78 winning trades-  SRI, VIV, FIG, VRSN, XRT, NPD, CAR, T, and ADS.

npd

t

Wednesday The Fed cut 25 basis points so now at 2.00% and discount rate at 2.25% and they could have hinted more strongly at being at an end of cutting but they didn't. It would have helped the dollar. Well gold may now rally a bit but do not think the correction is over. We had two very good gainers today on new buys from our watch list -  RHB, COCO and SGMS.

coco

Tuesday  Not much movement in the markets as I think they are still waiting for the Fed on Wednesday. There will also be the first quarter GDP figures. Nasdaq 100 was the gainer today as I guess money that came out of oil, cold etc when into tech. We again had 5 new buys - like it was still a roaring bull market. BRO, CYBS, ETM, XPRT and RHT. One short was BPHX.

cybs

Monday  The markets may be in a holding pattern in front of the Wednesday FOMC statement. We said we would leave on AOB and it moved nicely with other new buys including EJ, HCBK, GTE JBHT and PSEM. ONNN had a good move also - we forgot to show it last week on trades.

psem

ej

Friday  Kind of a slow market day as the indexes closed near flat for the day with a slight gain for the week We had two from the watch list become buys - (we will leave AOB on as it only moved up 10 cents) DLTR made a profit but VMW gained almost $5. Have a great weekend!

Thursday In front of Microsoft earnings the market rallies and several chip stocks did very well. From our watch list yet another banner day as we had 7 very profitable buys. JRJC, LTD CNQR, CVGI, GMST, SBAC, WU. You will not find such great results on any other site - absolutely.

Wednesday  Another decent consolidation day in front of earnings -- they will decide what happens next. We had 6 more stock trigger long from our wtch list today -  GSI, HMA, HYV, OPXT, CADX and VIT. Wasn't this one nice today!
